But even funnier, you then come back in a later post and say that your self image is not tied to your phone. Seems completely contradictory to me. On the one hand, your are embarrassed to be seen with your iPhone. On the other, your self image is not affected by your phone. Hmmm.

Coincidentally, a couple of days ago was recompiling the kernel and it appeared that OpenDarwin (DarwinBuild) was directing the latest plists to a 10.7 kernel.
Completely wiped out my MBP and as a result, no joy whatsoever in bless'ing the System as all. You have any experience in the past re the Darwin build process?

To be honest, I've had more application crashes and restarts on OSX than I have under XP/Windows in the past 3 years. So much for "crash resistant" - and yes, I've had 4 kernel panics since I got this iMac home; that's more than the number of BSODs I've had under XP in 4 years.
Which means -- as everyone is saying -- that there is something wrong with your computer. I have a MacBook, two Intel iMacs, and a Mac Pro in my house, and they do not crash despite heavy daily use. My poor Mac Pro is running three different operating systems right now using Parallels, with nary a complaint. If you are getting unexplained kernel panics on a clean install of Mac OS X, then you have a hardware problem.
Hardware problems can affect any OS -- I've seen Windows systems that get daily BSODs. It's not because "Windows sucks", it's because there was a sub-par memory chip or somesuch in the system. Likewise Mac OS X crashes, when nobody else is experiencing a problem, are not an indication of the stability of the OS but rather of your hardware.
You're quoting me back to me when all of us (including me) were talking about that other guy that is having hardware problems because his Parallels "sucks." Parallels kicks ass on my C2D 20" iMac - hence the reason I piped up to be the first to say something is wrong with the other guy's machine if he can't get it working right.
On mine, which is stock hardware except for the 2GB of RAM I have in it, Parallels starts up in 4 seconds, boots my XP VM in 9-10, shuts down in 3-4, restarts the same VM in under 5 seconds (have yet to figure that one out, probably because of caching someplace; I don't even see the XP splash screen when it reboots/restarts because it's so fast), suspends in 22-25 seconds, resumes in 30-34, and I have no issues with any hardware at all in my XP VM. I completed the testing I said I was going to do, and Parallels simply lays the smackdown across that other software. And yes I'm well aware that other software is in beta - or pre-beta late alpha as one person put it - and that's fine. But I paid for Parallels, and to use that most famous line about Macs:
It just works.
Oh yeah, it beats that other software even with multi-core CPU support enabled. Go figure.

Remember once someone sells you something they can not tell you how you can use it. That like you buying a car and in the purchase agreement they tell you your not allow to wreck the car. Grant it, they do not have to warranty it after you wreck it, but if you want to wreck it, that is up to you.
I hate to break it to you but when you buy software you are agreeing to the software licensing agreement. You must adhere to that agreement or face the loss of the license.

As usual American's (yeah I'm American) love to blame someone for their own responsibility. It's so weird how people on here fight for freedom from the lockdowns that Apple puts on it's developers, freedoms from the limitations and restrictions Apple puts on the iPhone (hence why people jailbreak). Yet when a parent doesn't take accountability for their absence of judgement and legal obligation to be responsible for their child, everyone goes off on Apple for not having the protections in place to prevent this?
There are so many hypocrites in this country, probably because nobody wants to take accountability for their own actions. What if it were a gun. If the parent left it on the night stand with a bullet in it, and the kid picked it up and shot & killed someone, would you all be blaming the maker of the gun? No, you'd be going after the parents for failure to supervise their kid which led to actions causing someone's death.
So why is it different here?
IT'S NOT.
I always love to bring that up at those Mcdonalds debates.

Highly suspicious of the first shot -- it appears that you can see the face of the white iPhone, but not the black. If the white is taller, it should be the other way around.
The second one you posted with the guide lines is much more convincing.

It will cost a premium for the same panel, it will yellow within two weeks, have tons of light leaks, and I'll probably have to used a tethered jail break just to make it play the movies that I want to play. Oh, and it will STILL only play 720p. I'll sick with my Samsung, thanks.

The iPhone 4 had the most negative marketing out of all the iPhones.
From the 'prototype' leak, to antenna issues. I think Apple is milking as much money as they can with the iPhone 4, while keeping the iPhone 5 top secret.

Anyway, to say that healthcare doesn't enter into the situation of someone that large is denial, plain and simple. You really shouldn't jump into such deep waters so ill-equipped, my friend. My original post and Knight's reply to yours already explain why this is a issue that affects more than just her.

But there is a pretty big chasm between being selfish, and not wanting to pay for someone else's self-inflicted stupidity.
